Lazy sunday

Decided to give myself a break today.. did not practice nor do any work.. also took a 2 hr nap in the afternoon..and i even ate kit kat to make it more complete. :) felt guilty like hell but what the heck. its better to give the body a day break than to have a week of illness when school reopens..i rationalised to myself.

and.. i did something terrible. Twice.
but the funny thing is, it doesnt feel wrong to me. Its just that i know its wrong. hmm..

i dont know which is worse. The fact that i dont think its wrong, or that i done it twice?

Read so much news today from so many sources that i feel like im back in sg again. So Mrs Lim Hwee Hua thinks we shld have more female politicians? I think her argument about not having a quota for male/female politicians is pretty good. Assuming that most politicians have fairly high egos of themselves, im sure they wudnt like the idea, no matter how remote it may be, of being selected into parliament to fill in a gap caused by the quota rule.

And im absolutely stunned by the news of the almost-sale of a penthouse in Strathmore Avenue for a staggering sum of $950,000!!! Apparently the sale didnt go through because the buyer cudnt get a bank loan for that amount. Good on you, sg banks. This sort of insane behaviour should not be encouraged! Guess my wish to stay in queenstown area is going the same way as my wish to stay in marine parade...down the toilet bowl. Judging from the way hdb resale prices are skyrocketing, the only places i will be able to afford to stay in are perhaps sengkang, woodlands, sembawang, or maybe even pulau ubin or batam..

hmm.. since i have time, maybe i shld google "ways to gently nudge boss for a pay raise"...
